Zero Waste CA

“The Ohio Zero Waste Association is working tirelessly to create a cleaner, more sustainable future for our state, by promoting zero waste policies, recycling, composting and sustainable waste management practices.”

The Ohio Zero Waste Association (OZWA) is actively working to promote and implement sustainable waste management practices throughout the state of Ohio. We strive to engage and empower communities across Ohio to take action towards sustainable waste management and promote a circular economy through the reduction, reuse and recycling of resources. Some of the specific initiatives that OZWA is working on include promoting the use of reusable packaging, such as cloth bags and containers, as an alternative to single-use packaging, which can help to reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills and reduce the environmental impacts of packaging production.

OZWA is also working on educating the public, government officials, and businesses about the benefits of zero waste and sustainable practices, by providing training and resources on recycling, composting, and sustainable waste management. We are working to create a more sustainable future for Ohio by implementing Zero waste policies, promoting composting and recycling, supporting the development of green infrastructure and working with municipalities and businesses across the state, such as Cleveland and Columbus, to implement sustainable waste management practices. Join OZWA and become a part of the solution to reduce waste and promote sustainable living.
