North Carolina Zero Waste Association

The North Carolina Zero Waste Association (NCZWA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting sustainable waste management practices throughout the state of North Carolina. Our mission is to reduce the amount of waste generated, increase the recycling and composting of materials, and educate and assist businesses and organizations on sustainable waste management practices.

With a focus on reusing packaging materials like pallets, boxes, and IBC totes, we aim to raise awareness about the benefits of sustainable waste management in major cities such as Raleigh, Charlotte, and Greensboro. We also provide technical assistance and resources to businesses, schools, and community groups on recycling, composting, and sustainable waste management. Join us in our efforts to create a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable future for North Carolina.

Zero Waste CA

By working with businesses, organizations and cities in these major cities, we hope to make a meaningful impact on sustainable waste management in North Carolina.

The North Carolina Zero Waste Association (NCZWA) works to promote sustainable waste management practices throughout the state of North Carolina, with a focus on reducing the amount of waste generated and increasing the recycling and composting of materials. One of the ways we do this is by working with businesses, organizations and cities in major cities such as Raleigh, Charlotte, and Greensboro to implement sustainable waste management practices and raise awareness about the benefits of sustainable waste management.

In Raleigh, for example, NCZWA partners with local businesses to help them reduce their waste and increase their recycling and composting efforts. We also work with local government agencies and community groups to educate residents about sustainable waste management practices and encourage the use of reusable packaging materials, such as pallets, boxes, and IBC totes.

In Greensboro, NCZWA partners with local schools and universities to incorporate sustainable waste management education into their curriculum and implement sustainable practices on campus. We also work with local businesses to promote the use of reusable packaging materials and to help them reduce their waste and increase their recycling and composting efforts.
